Instructor

Syntopica Rob Fitterer

Dr Robert Fitterer is a philosopher, researcher, author, and communicator with 30 years experience in educational and spiritual settings. He holds a PhD in philosophy from the University of British Columbia, graduate degrees in religious studies and theology, as well as undergraduate formation in philosophy and Greek and Roman studies. His work is published through the University of Toronto press. Rob has presented in a range of settings: philosophy forums, community colleges, universities, religious organizations, and has led public discussions since 2005 in a former incarnation of Syntopica called Faith & Reality. Dr Fitterer is deeply concerned about the undue political and ideological influences affecting adult education today. Syntopica is his contribution to the ongoing resistance against ideology, obscurantism, and censorship.
